Genea Sparks CPT, CN and Owner of Balanced Fitness
Genea Sparks is the owner and founder of BALANCED FITNESS, a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutritionist.

Genea has studied Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi throughout her career development. Genea grew up dancing, studying Ballet, Tap, Lyrical and Broadway Dance and taught Jazz Dance for four years, and favors the energy and excitement of Jazz Dance.
Prior to her career in fitness, Genea spent six years in the medical field. I love helping people live Healthier, Happier lives. Genea is well versed in Osteoporosis, Diabetes and Thyroid conditions. Her passion was fitness, so she changed careers and three years after getting certified as a personal trainer she opened BALANCED FITNESS.
Genea is focused on customizing and personalizing BALANCED fitness routines for her clients and overseeing their achievements as they progress into healthy happier individuals. Everyone is unique and has different needs Her goal is to ensure that Balanced Fitness clients maintain a BALANCE of resistance, cardiovascular training and flexibility in their workout routines.
Genea knows that diet is a major part in living a healthy life and is also certified in Hair Analysis & Nutritional Balancing. Hair Analysis is a major part of Genea's program design as it tells exactly what minerals clients have to little or too much of and can see exactly what toxins are hiding within the body and takes the guess work out of supplement and nutrition programs. "So many people come to me and want to lose weight but sometimes it goes deeper than a good exercise program and nutrition, sometimes people have medical conditions which are causing them and their doctors aren't finding them. My goal is to help my clients feel great mentally, physically and emotionally through working out on a regular basis, making fitness a fun way of life and getting my clients on a healthy supplement and eating plan."

Christina Tomaselli CPT
With over 20 years of experience in the Health and Fitness Industry, Christina specializes in exercise and weight management programs that are fun and balanced. She has been dedicated to exercise since commencing daily running as a teen and balancing sports, fitness, and fun activities through college and into her professional adult life.
“I believe exercise is for life. A balanced fitness program is a combination of effective exercise and proper nutrition. This will help you keep your weight off, avoid diseases, handle stress, increase energy, and feel good"
Christina has a B.S. in Recreation Management from California State University at San Jose. She has certifications in Personal Training, Dance Aerobics, Fitness Instruction, and Step Aerobics. She enjoys working one-on-one with people who are beginners, interested in weight loss, or want to learn about the benefits of exercise and health. "I enjoy teaching people how to incorporate fitness into their daily life."
Having owned, managed, and operated her own Woman's Health Club for over 17 years; Christina understands the struggles associated with getting started on a program. It is important to start slow and progress into a program that will help you achieve results.
Over the years, Christina has combined exercise with charity. “Understanding the benefits of exercise as a proactive lifestyle is important to me and a fundamental building block in being balance. She has successfully held numerous events educating woman about Cancer, Lupus, and Cyclic Fibrosis. These events help raise awareness of disease and provide thousands of dollars for each cause.
Christina enjoys fitness activities of all kinds. She enjoys hikes with her husband, two children, and three dogs. She exercises several times a week at the gym with weights, at home with a Swiss Ball and free weights, plays tennis and takes daily long walks on the beach with her dogs. Christina is also a certified class instructor and enjoys teaching group classes.

"With over 11 years experience as a massage therapist I have learned how to very effectively bring my clients comfortably to a deeply relaxed state in order to release the stress of their bodies and minds. I did my training at the institute of psycho-structural balancing in San Diego in 1997 and continue to update my practice at Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts in Santa Cruz. I have extensive experience working with athletes from all fields, the elderly and/or handicapped, pregnant women and those recovering from injuries. I served as the on-site massage therapist for the athletic teams of San Francisco State University, helping them maintain peak performance. My acupuncture training was completed in 2003 at five branches institute in Santa Cruz. I regularily update my education through continuing education classes. Most of this post graduate schooling has been in fertility and facial rejuvenation acupuncture. I worked at the Golden Door Spa in Telluride, Colorado for the last two years in addition to having my own private practice. Although my areas of focus are fertility and womens health I have extensive expertise treating sports injuries, internal medicine, and infectious diseases as well as facial rejuvenation acupuncture. My experience has given me the ability to astutely and effectivly treat my clients in a way that works for them. In addition to chinese medicine I have been a whole foods chef for the last 16 years and am available for dietary consultations, personal chefing, and catering.
